Meet theTeam
Founder + Chief Executive Officer
Monica Palma
Founder, recovery mentor, and passionate advocate for individualized healing and lasting recovery.
I’m the founder of Fresh Perspectives Collaborative, a coaching practice dedicated to human-centered, individualized support for those navigating eating disorder recovery and mental health challenges. With nearly two decades of experience working across multiple levels of care — from inpatient to outpatient living and beyond — I’ve developed a rare depth of understanding for the full recovery journey. Through my work at leading specialized treatment centers, including Oliver-Pyatt Centers and Galen Hope, I’ve had the privilege of learning and training alongside some of the most respected professionals in the eating disorder field, experiences that have profoundly shaped my approach to care.
With a background in psychology, I believe meaningful recovery happens in real life, which is why I’m committed to meeting clients where they are — both literally and figuratively. My work is grounded in empathy, integrity, and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity to heal.
Outside of my work, I’m a Miami-based mom of three who finds joy in exploring the culinary arts and spending time with my family. That same love of nourishment — in all its forms — infuses everything I bring to my clients.
Chief Operations Officer
Rebecca Carmenate
Recovery mentor, operations leader, and passionate advocate for helping people reconnect with their confidence and strength.
Supporting people through recovery has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life’s work. Over the past 18 years in the mental health and eating disorder treatment field, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they rediscover their strength, confidence, and sense of self.
I studied Psychology at the University of Miami and spent many years working with Oliver-Pyatt Centers and Galen Hope, where I served as both a Recovery Coach and Clinical Operations Manager. During that time, I supported clients across multiple levels of care while also helping lead and mentor recovery teams.
What I love most about this work is the connection—meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with compassion, honesty, and sometimes a little humor along the way.
Our Coaches
Coaches are the heart of our work.
They are highly trained professionals in mental health and eating disorders, each bringing a unique perspective on how emotional well-being impacts daily life.
Our recovery coaches provide personalized, practical support to help clients build sustainable routines, strengthen resilience, and stay accountable in their recovery. While they do not offer clinical treatment, they focus on real-life strategies, coping skills, and ongoing connection to the recovery process.
Our diverse, multicultural team speaks multiple languages and is committed to creating a space that feels authentic, respectful, and culturally informed—so every client feels seen, understood, and supported.
Grounded in compassion and professionalism, our coaches are a vital part of a comprehensive, human-centered approach to recovery.
From A Treatment Provider“When you work with Monica and Rebecca, it’s not just working with a meal coach or life coach—you get a truly holistic approach. Their clinical insight, nutrition experience, passion, and connection with clients and families exceeds expectations. Their level of expertise and depth of care go far beyond what you would receive from a traditional coach, offering support that is both clinically informed and deeply personalized.”
