Monica Palma

Founder + CEO

Founder, recovery mentor, and passionate advocate for individualized healing and lasting recovery.

My work in eating disorder recovery began with a simple question: If this were my loved one, how would I want them to be cared for? That perspective has guided me through more than 18 years working alongside individuals and families navigating the complexities of recovery.

My background in psychology began through studies at the University of Miami and Florida International University, and I started my career at Oliver-Pyatt Centers, where I helped develop several programs including the Intensive Outpatient, Transitional Living, and Binge Eating Disorder programs. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to open an adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program and later help launch Galen Hope, where I served in leadership as Experience Officer.

In 2024, I founded Fresh Perspectives Collaborative to help bridge the gap between clinical treatment and everyday life—offering personalized coaching and support rooted in compassion, experience, and real-world recovery.

Outside of my work, I love cooking, traveling, exploring nature, and spending time with my family.

Rebecca Carmenate

Partner

Recovery mentor, operations leader, and passionate advocate for helping people reconnect with their confidence and strength.

Supporting people through recovery has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life’s work. Over the past 18 years in the mental health and eating disorder treatment field, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they rediscover their strength, confidence, and sense of self.

I studied Psychology at the University of Miami and spent many years working with Oliver-Pyatt Centers / Monte Nido Affiliates, where I served as both a Recovery Coach and Recovery Coach Manager. During that time, I supported clients across multiple levels of care while also helping lead and mentor recovery teams.

What I love most about this work is the connection—meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with compassion, honesty, and sometimes a little humor along the way.
